Power Girls

This project focuses on addressing gender inequality and discrimination by improving the rights of vulnerable girls, who often face school dropouts, child marriage, and trafficking due to harmful social practices. Implemented in two rural municipalities of Sindhupalchowk since January 2023, with funding from Interpedia Finland, the project includes sensitization training for local elected members, capacity-building for women representatives, community awareness on child protection, support to Child Rights Committees, and mobilization of Girls’ Advocacy Groups (GAGs).
