Promoting Social Protection Floor: Coverage for People (PROSOP)

As part of the EU/INTPA Public Finance Management and Social Protection Floors Project, PROSOP aimed to enhance Nepal’s social protection systems in collaboration with ILO, UNICEF Nepal, and WSM. From May 2020 to May 2023, the project was piloted in Helambu Rural Municipality (Sindhupalchowk) and Kalaiya Sub-Metropolitan City (Bara) to improve social security policy implementation, ensure timely cash transfers, advocate for inclusive policies, and strengthen stakeholder coordination.
