HELP is CWISH program to promote healthy lives for Nepalese people. HELP is focused on physical health. CWISH thinks health as a major development agenda that has strong relationship with other social, political and economic development of the society. In Nepal on the one hand the government and the responsible institution are not found very serious on the health issues of people and on the other hand the grass root people are deprived from basic health information, education and services resulting in catastrophe and death of thousands of people from simple preventable disease such as diarrhoea.
Therefore CWISH has initiated health promotion programs through establishing a separate section on health HELP.
HELP thinks, just organizing fewer health camps is not sufficient for people to live a healthy live, what we need is concrete true and useful practical health education and to have a long term sustainable health service we should strengthen and create linkages of grass root people with available health service institution.
